MMI were approached by Paul Byrne, export manager at Fleetwood Paints to see how they could improve their overseas trade. It quickly became obvious that MMI could help best by taking on the role of an agency basis.
“The benefits of this are obvious,” says Paul “as we only pay for positive results. However, it goes way beyond this in that MMI have really taken the pressure off our export team and have also introduced and developed new markets for us. This is a real win-win as far as we’re concerned and we still have a strong working relationship with them.”
This no-risk approach to sales has become a mainstay of Fleetwood’s export business. Furthermore, it has also helped them gain a better understanding of the whole export process, as MMI were able to share their knowledge and expertise on everything from transport to documentation.
MMI continue to work alongside Paul and his team in making sure Fleetwood Paints can consolidate existing exports and find new markets too.
